Short semester

i have this love-hate relationship with my college's short semester.

one thing that is really depressing is that i don't get to see Niva as often when it comes to short semester as we're taking different subjects - her, drama/creative writing; me, chinese creative writing. this really upsets me as we live far apart from each other so we hardly meet up during semester breaks unless we're going on a trip so if it wasn't for college, i really would not know when will we be seeing each other (she can drive but doesn't have a car; i have a car but my directions are like shit).

now you get the picture.

however, the bright side of short semester(s) is that there are less dramas; and this whole rushing-for-deadline torment lasts for only 6 weeks. after 6 busy weeks i'll be greeting semester break like an old friend and off with my adventures (read: rotting and being a slob at home).
