great time. epic moment when Zi Lin and I duet 'Breaking Free' from HSM. hahahaha.
WE'RE SOARING, FLYING. THERE'S NOT A STAR IN HEAVEN THAT WE CAN'T REACH.
HAHAHA.
okay. update on my recent trip to Langkawi Island. many first times. first time fishing, first time going on a speedboat, first time snorkelling, and first time viewing sunset on an island.
my family and I arrived to the Langkawi Yacht Club in the morning, getting set for the boat trip to other islands that are away from Langkawi. you can find any kind of boat parking by the jetty of the Yacht Club. and since we're on the boat, we got to view the whole size of the famous Eagle statue located nearby the Yacht Club.
after about 15 minutes of getting-smacked-in-the-face-by-the-super-strong-wind ride, the boat finally slowed down at the mangrove forest area. the captain of the boat fed the eagles with chicken skin. why chicken skin? because chicken skin floats and would make it easier for cleaning up if the eagles refuse to dig in what is offered. the mangrove forest is really beautiful. the eagles live by the mountain just around the corner of the mangrove forest, a suitable location for them to hunt for food. sorry if the pictures aren't good, that's the best i can get.
next up, which is my favourite part - fishing! i've never tried fishing before but with luck, i managed to catch 2 fishes! they're too cute so i let them back to the ocean. i was the only one who succeeded in my family. my dad, however, who claimed to have a lot of experience in fishing(ah girl, i fished a lot when i was in high school, okay?), didn't even manage some seaweed. hahaha. love you, dad.
last stop of the day, Pantai Beras Basah. it is definitely cleaner and less crowded than Pantai Cenang. it has super fine sand and the seawater is crystal clear. if you enjoy the sense of tranquillity by the seaside, this beach is definitely the best choice. however, it doesn't have any food stall over there so you'll have to bring your own food.
next day - Underwater World. penguins are the cutest thing in the world. 'nuff said.
Langkawi's sunset view from my friend's penthouse balcony. sigh. look at the breathtaking view, i think i'm in love.
did light drawing with the moon. like a boss. hehe.
tomorrow is the last day of CNY already. so fast!
sigh. how i wish CNY would never end. and i don't want to go back to college.
it's okay with me as long as you're happy.
