year two thousand and eleven. where shall i begin with. waiting for the nostalgia to kick in. wait for it.

okay. here we go. a brief recap of what i've done throughout the year. with some personal thoughts and emotions between the lines. (links are red in colour.)


started my new year with a new job as a kindergarten teacher. (thanks to Yi Xiang and his mom for the job!) the job was really fun, exciting and also, tiring. kids these days, i tell you.
sadly, i was only wanted for a one month so after January i practically jobless. gone were the days when i used to chase the kids back into their classes. not to mention finishing their food for them.

got my SPM result. felt like there is no hope in the world anymore. cried my heart out. but then later i reminded myself it's only SPM. that's why i'm still here. tried really hard not to care about it so i focused on my driving tests. yes, tests. failed once and finally passed it with full glory on the second time. which means, I AM A LEGAL DRIVER. hohoho.

staying at home all day made me miss high school even more. that's what you do when you have all the time in the world but you have nothing to do but to allow random thoughts running in your head. so, during this free fall period, i've done a few things i've always wanted to do: dinner dates with the girls, went cycling in Putrajaya, movie marathon, got a laptop for myself, completed a 1000-pieces puzzle.

annnnnnnnd i'm finally a college student this year baby! *proud*
my course is pretty rare, mostly because people think Journalism students wouldn't have a bright future. says who? we're the brightest bunch of DJR students ever.

we were actually in the middle of a debate: College students should not join rallies.

the classmates are really great. we hang out, do stupid things, discussed about world domination, assignments, gossips and many more. 5 semesters to go! glad to have you all with me.

for those who've been reading my blog(newcomers, please refer to the red link below) will know how much and what i've been through with the TT family. met a lot of people through this event who are really willing to help and motivate me even though i am such a difficult person to put up with. thank you all for being there during the 7 weeks.  you guys rocked my college life! 

next up, BRATs! because there are too many stories to tell, i broke it into 2 parts: part 1 and part 2.

couldn't quite remember where i got the guts to sign up for a 10km run. but i did it anyway. cheers. :)

i fell in love and fell out of love.

i almost thought you were my exception. yet there is never an exception. at least not for me. you are the best thing that ever happened to me in year 2011. 

this year was a busy one, especially after i've started college. many things happened, drama and complications. these made me miss being in high school so much. where everything is simpler. i've met many people and made many new friends. to those who guided me through, a megathanks to all of you. done and tried many things out this year. stayed up in college until 2am, got lost in the middle of nowhere while driving, being pushed around in a shopping trolley, spending money like nobody business, bought many new storybooks, performing in front of 3k people, late night mamaks, interviewed random people in college, driving alone, worked a lot, finally saving up for a camera, been to Malacca for the second time two years in a row, joined BRATs, dining in an Indian restaurant(i ate with my hands!), took LRT(parents never let me take the train before), watched The Lion King 3D and have never been so nostalgic about New Year. i must also say that i've grown up, emotionally, not physically, those days are long gone. learnt a lot. lost something/someone. also won something back.
