Bright.Roving.Annoying.Teens

i sent in my self-description essay to The Star R.AGE around February this year to join the Star BRATs Young Journalist Workshop and i totally forgot about it until i got a notification email from The Star earlier in August. i was AWESTRUCK. i mean, i never thought i would get chosen for the BRATs workshop in Malacca by my not-so-good essay. i'm just super lucky, i guess. :D

i arrived in Malacca in the morning that day only to find there are 41 youths out there(not all of them, but still) who share the same aspiration as me: to become a journalist. awesome much? please proceed to the entire post.

as usual as any of the camps/workshop would have done, we started off with ice-breaking sessions conducted by 2 of the senior BRATs: Amy and Chien Teng. (Amy was my roomie, btw :D)
there's nothing better than playing lame games when it comes to ice-breaking, trust me.

we have Niki Cheong, Sharmila, Nasa, Melody and Jason facilitated us throughout the entire workshop. we all are pretty well fed throughout the 4 days. haha. SNACKS. loads and loads of them. name it and you have it.

assignments are given to us and 3 groups are formed among the 42 of us. we need to do photo-essays, articles, sound slides and video for the interviews we have done during the 4 days. i've met both the craziest 16 years-old during the workshop and had spent most of my time back to living as a 16-years old for the 4 days, so the other BRATs always find me going hyper or hysterical with the both of them. HAHA. people actually came to me and asked: "you guys knew each other before this?", "are you same school with them?", "what? you're in college and you're 18?".

you have no idea. *wink*

lame games session.

the hypers. Leeynesh and Sue Een. before leaving, Leeynesh said: "i think the 3 of us will be BFF." AWWW.

being forced by Sue Een to camwhore with her in the restroom. -.-

with Shamila and Nasa.
ladies and gentlemen, i present you the Youthspire! :D we're awesome like that.
