working as a preschool teacher seems like an easy and relaxing job. please don't fall for the trap i tell you. it ain't an easy job, AT ALL.
patience is the key to the so-called success(to really make the kids listen to you). i've never been a patient person, at all. and this job really drove me nuts cos the kids never listen to you. but this is only for the first few days, after that, i got used to it and i actually could deal with the kids and made them listen to me(not by violence, mind you.). these kids are really cute, somehow annoying at the same time. the best part is, half of the boys don't know how to 'shhh shhh'. can you believe that. i wonder what their parents do at home. a few of them even wore diapers to school. AND. one of the boys asked me to accompany him to the washroom then when he took off his trousers he's wearing a diaper. ROFL. wearing diaper still wanna go toilet and 'shhh shhh'. kids nowadays AH. one of them always has morning blues. every morning came into the classroom with a crying or scowling face. there's this boy, named Ming You, every morning came and look for me then hug me so tight and cry in my arms. 5 minutes later, when he saw his cousin arrived, he's over it. HAHAHA. i know right. and there's this boy named Sunny, he would cry at the smallest thing(eg. fell down from the chair, can't reach for his pencil, can't take his book out from his schoolbag, can't find his pencil case). i remember once that he fell from the chair he cried, softly, but then suddenly increased his volume and looking for the mom. he started to throw tantrums and keep heading for the gate and says he wanna go home. i failed to comfort him cos he is SO stubborn so i took him out from classroom and sit on the bench and pretend we were waiting for his mom to com and pick him up. after 15 minutes, when he has calmed down and stopped crying, i asked him if he want to go back into the classroom and learn new stuffs, he ACTUALLY said yes.
